We will be following the Jack Mytton Way to the river, then crossing over into Severn Valley Country Park where there is a fabulous 25 mile off road route through the fabulous Dudmaston Estate.
The ride encompasses lakes, fields, parkland, and woodland tracks, so there is ample opportunity to canter and gallop!! At one point we canter alongside the uninterrupted view of the River Severn and all its wildlife.
We shall be over-nighting at a National Trust basecamp at Mose, and make our way home along a new route made up of existing bridleways. The scenery will be varied and interesting, passing through the mining town of Highley and with lots of glimpses of the Severn Valley Railway (don’t worry our horses are okay with steam trains!!)
You can expect to be in the saddle for 6-7 hours per day and delicious home made picnic lunches will be served so you have the opportunity to stretch your legs!!
