Pony and Play Day comments
Dear Steph and staff,
I would like to take this opportunity of thanking all at Country treks for the fantastic rides me and my girls have every week. As you know we have been coming every week for quite a few years now so you must be doing something right to keep not only me happy but also 3 teenagers which is not an easy task.
The girls love the mix of lessons and hacks with the lovely Heidi and Anna, I think they would move in if you let them.
I love the fantastic countryside hacks with non other than the fun loving Helen who makes every ride different and exciting.
All the horses are brilliant, Digby being my absolute favourite.
Chloe is always helpful and attentive on the phone to all our needs, and always with a big smile.
So, a very very big thank you to you all from me and the girls.

COMMENTS FROM OCTOBER 2011
Good morning Chloe,
Without hesitation, it was a wonderful two days and I can honestly say – no aches or pain. In fact I feel twenty years younger- what a bonus! We were blessed with beautiful weather ,particularly Saturday and the scenery was truly magnificent. Hills and woods are an unbeatable combination and on horse it’s even better as it saves by legs!I’ve been to Shropshire before but I must say it revealed itself to be even more beautiful than I remember – it reminded me of my childhood in Aberdeen – and that’s going back some time!
People we met were friendly and smiling, even in pubs and hotel. And those bridle paths were fantastic – I have often heard of the Long Mynd but never thought I would ride over it and was grateful for Digby’s legs on that climb up. My legs or lungs might have complained if I had done it on foot.
Helen was an excellent guide, a very friendly, fun person and she allowed us space as experienced riders as well as being totally competent and professional; the trip was well organised, accommodation was first class and reasonably priced and tea and cake at the end was a welcome bonus after two days in the saddle! The experience of the two days was so good I felt as if I had been on a foreign holiday, yet you are only an hour away.
All in all, a wonderful experience surely to be repeated.Thankyou all, for giving me so much pleasure and thankyou Helen for being such excellent company and tour guide – and thankyou Rosie and Digby for letting me sit on you!

I have
looked for years to find a perfect place to ride and now my search is over.
I have had another great ride again today taken by Helen with me on Archie I
couldn’t stop smiling.
The staff here really do try and tailor everything to
suit what you are looking for. From the horse you ride to the type of experience
you want to take away.
The countryside is beautiful I love this
place.
Staff always happy

Everyone at County Treks makes you feel welcome and they take time to listen to their customers, which is rare in my experience. They want you to enjoy yourself and so work with you to select the right horse that suits your experience and style, ensuring you feel comfortable. It’s a pre-requisite that safety is a big consideration and of course they do this really well too!
I am a ‘hacker’ and love the wide variety of routes and stunning scenery! There is literally mile after mile of bridleway, with routes to suit all standards of rider. Since a fall last year, I have had ‘confidence issues’ – all at the stables, but especially Helen (Yard Manager), have worked hard with me to help me regain my confidence, I cannot thank them enough!
Country Treks like to involve their customers in various events and offer opportunities to help with RDA (Riding for the Disabled). I jumped at chance to get the ‘green card’ allowing me to help in RDA sessions, although I don’t have the spare time to help out regularly, I do find it extremely rewarding.
In a nutshell, the horses are happy and well cared for, the staff are really wonderful and the location could not be better! What more could you ask for?!

Pony Camp is great fun! I love William is is such a great jumper. This camp is the best one i have been on because you get to achieve your goal and do fun activities in the evening, like laser tag. See you next year.
